Timing Computer:
The computers provided with our Pro packages are specialized to handle jumbo frames and read and write to the hard drive simultaneously. This assures your timing system will operate correctly and allow you to experience all of the tremendous features of Eagle Eye Pro.
Additionally, all computers are set up and tested before shipping. (Pre-Installation and testing include: Windows 7 Operating System, Eagle Eye Pro timing software, USB key protection software, high speed camera driver, Ethernet card network established, internal microphone setting optimized for wireless start detection).
Results Computer:
Your own standard PC can be used as your results computer to operate Hy-Tek Meet Manager, etc. For added flexibility you may also load Eagle Eye Pro Timing software (at no additional fee) on this computer. This will allow you to read race video on both computers, however the recording of races can only be done on the Eagle Eye provided timing computer.
Using Your Own Computer. Save $1,000
You may purchase a Pro system without a computer at of $1,000 savings off the retail published price -- HOWEVER, please note the following. Eagle Eye customer support will be limited to software and camera related issues only, and will not include troubleshooting issues related to your personal computer that was not set up and tested in house.
Computer Requirements: A PC Computer with Windows 7, XP or Vista, 64 bit operating system, 7200rpm hard drive, 500G hard drive, at least 4G of RAM, at least dual core processor or better, express card slot (34mm or 54mm for Pro 100 and 54m for Pro 60).
Customer Responsible For the Following: Installation of Eagle Eye Pro Timing software, 2) installation of camera driver software (Pro 100), 3) installation
of USB Key protection software, program express card network programming to accept jumbo frames, program internal computer microphone
settings to optimize wireless start detection. Instructions for the above are provided on a CD upon purchase, however it is highly recommended that you have a computer technician install assure that your computer meets the required spec and that the list above is done correctly.
