Providing your own computer is possible, however it must meet the specs below. The computer must handle jumbo frames and read and write to the hard drive simultaneously. This assures your timing system will operate correctly and allow you to experience all of the tremendous features of Eagle Eye Pro.
Eagle Eye timing computers have very specific requirements. Note, the items below may not be included in a computer's common description.
1. 7,200 RPM Hard Drive2. 250G or larger Hard Drive3. Gigabit Ethernet port4. NIC (Network Interface Controller) or Network Adapter * Intel NIC’s are highly recommended and preferred. Example: Model #82579LM. All other NIC's are not guaranteed to work by Eagle Eye. Due to the variation quality in components, it is not possible to create a list of acceptable NIC's. Intel is the ONLY manufacturer that Eagle Eye recommends.
