Wireless Gun Start (Trigger) System
This optional wireless start system makes possible two-way
communication
via a series of green and red
lights
that
communicate
the timing operators readiness,
effectively replacing the need for a‘ready
flag’ in the press
box.

NOTE: Before deciding to purchase this system, please read and understand the information below.
While
the stock wireless start system always operates in the wide-open mode
(meaning it will always trigger upon the firing of the starting gun)
this unit must be set and reset by the timing operator prior to each
race. As a result this unit DOES NOT operate in the wide-open mode
and a missed start can occur if the two additional steps described below are not followed.
1)
The timing operator must push the ready/reset button on the receiver
twice (once to clear the system and again to reactivate the system) prior to
each race. Doing so turns the ready light from red to green. 2) The
starter must monitor and visually confirm a green ready light on his/her transmitter unit before beginning the next race.
The ready/ reset button is shown as a red button on top of the receiver in the image above.
